The weather system over the country:

Southwest monsoon has further advanced over the remaining parts of the North Arabian Sea, some more parts of West Uttar Pradesh, some parts of Haryana, Chandigarh, the remaining parts of Himachal Pradesh and Jammu, and some more parts of Punjab.

Monsoon may advance over some more parts of Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, and the remaining parts of West Uttar Pradesh during the next 24 hours.

A cyclonic circulation is over the northeast parts of Madhya Pradesh, extending up to 5.8 km above mean sea level.

Another cyclonic circulation is over the northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining North Odisha–West Bengal coast, extending up to 5.8 km above mean sea level.

A trough extends from the northeast Arabian Sea to the cyclonic circulation over the northwest Bay of Bengal across Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, northern parts of Chhattisgarh, and North Odisha.

During the last 24 hours, moderate to heavy rain occurred over Andaman and Nicobar Islands, South Assam, and Arunachal Pradesh.

Light to moderate rain with a few heavy spells occurred over Northeast India, parts of Jharkhand, coastal Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, East Rajasthan, Madhya Maharashtra, coastal Karnataka, and Kerala.

Light to moderate rain occurred over Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, East and Central Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Vidarbha, Konkan, Goa, East Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Jammu & Kashmir.

Light rain occurred over Bihar, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Rayalaseema, and Lakshadweep.

During the next 24 hours, moderate to heavy rain is possible over the Western Himalayan region, North Punjab, North Haryana, Konkan and Goa, and coastal Karnataka.

Light to moderate rain with one or two heavy spells may occur over Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Odisha, East Gujarat, Kerala, Northeast India, Sikkim, and northern parts of Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Light to moderate rain is possible over West Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, West Rajasthan, Vidarbha, Marathwada, Telangana, coastal Andhra Pradesh, and Gangetic West Bengal.

Light rain is possible over interior Karnataka, Rayalaseema, and Tamil Nadu.
