At 5:30 AM IST on July 10, it was centred over the northern parts of central Uttar Pradesh. The associated cyclonic circulation extends up to 5.8 km above mean sea level, tilting southwards with height. It is likely to weaken gradually over the next 24 hours.

The monsoon trough at mean sea level extends from Ganganagar, Hissar, the centre of the low-pressure area over northern parts of central Uttar Pradesh, Gorakhpur and Purnea, before extending east-southeastwards towards Mizoram.

The offshore trough at mean sea level now extends from the Gujarat coast to the Maharashtra coast.

A cyclonic circulation persists over Gangetic West Bengal and adjoining Bangladesh, extending up to 5.8 km above mean sea level.

Light to moderate rainfall occurred over East Madhya Pradesh, the northeastern states, East Rajasthan, Delhi, Jammu & Kashmir, parts of Odisha, North Tamil Nadu, Vidarbha, Madhya Maharashtra, Konkan & Goa, Coastal Karnataka and Kerala.

Light rainfall was recorded over Telangana, Interior Karnataka, South Tamil Nadu, Lakshadweep, and the Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
