The Southwest Monsoon has further advanced into some more parts of Madhya Pradesh, the remaining parts of Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, and Bihar, along with some parts of Uttar Pradesh, most parts of Uttarakhand, and some parts of Himachal Pradesh and Ladakh on June 30.

Conditions are favourable for the further advance of Southwest Monsoon into some more parts of the North Arabian Sea, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, entire Daman and Diu, remaining parts of Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Ladakh, and Jammu & Kashmir, most parts of Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, and Punjab, along with some parts of Rajasthan during the next 2 to 3 days.

The seasonal trough extends from Punjab to the North Bay of Bengal at 0.9 km above mean sea level.

A cyclonic circulation is persisting over North Bay of Bengal and adjoining South Bangladesh between 1.5 and 5.8 km above mean sea level, tilting southwestward with height. Under its influence, a low-pressure area is likely to form over Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas around July 3.

A cyclonic circulation is also persisting over East Bihar.

An offshore trough is extending from Maharashtra to the North Kerala coast.

Another trough is extending from Central Madhya Pradesh to East-Central Arabian Sea across Marathwada, Madhya Maharashtra, Konkan and Goa, between 4.5 and 5.8 km above mean sea level.
